Alps & Meters at The Alpina Gstaad

Despite only being founded in 2014, Boston-based skiwear label Alps & Meters creates clothing reminiscent of the alpine style of old. The label’s vintage aesthetic allows their pieces to perfectly transition from the slopes – where they are technically excellent – to the chalet or hotel where they are the height of alpine style. Whilst respecting the great heritage of alpine sports, Alps & Meters manages to incorporate modern fabric technologies, ensuring water resistance, warmth, breathability and improved flexibility. The products have all the luxuriousness of natural fibres cut in an understated palette, guaranteeing wear after wear.

Earlier this year, The Rake travelled to the majestic Alpina Gstaad in Switzerland, where we shot Alps & Meters’ new season pieces against a stunning mountainous backdrop. Here, we present the results…
