Ferrari 288 GTO
The 288 GTO was a homologation of the Ferrari 308 GTB, or the 'Magnum P.I. Ferrari' as it is more commonly known. That essentially meant that it was a lighter, more powerful, race version of the already quick mid-engined supercar of the '80s. Its 2.8-litre V8 was blessed with twin-turbochargers, giving it 400bhp and a top speed of 186mph, making it the fastest car in the world for a brief period. This particular car is being sold through H.R. Owen and with its Rosso Corsa paint job and low mileage of 20,000, it won't hang around for long.

The Great Frog Evil Skull Ring
Whilst the picture might not lead you to believe it, this ring is small, the smallest Evil Skull ring that The Great Frog produce, in fact. That means it's subtle, and when worn on one's pinky finger the casual observer won't realise that it's not actually a signet ring, but in fact a badass evil skull head ready to wreak havoc on all who look at it the wrong way.

Oliver Spencer Long Wing Brogues
Part of Oliver Spencer's Made in England range, these long wing brogues boast a hand-finished Goodyear welted commando sole and a grain and waxed combination leather upper. The storm welt provides added water resistance and the chunky sole will add a rugged finish to either a tailored or weekend ensemble.

Kilgour Alpaca-Blend Overcoat
Freelance creative director of Kilgour, Carlo Brandelli is noted for his contemporary, almost futurist designs that attempt to modernise the often staid world of Savile Row. This alpaca-blend overcoat is one of his more traditional designs, with its slim notch lapels and jetted pockets allowing the opulent fabric to take centre stage.
£1,995, available from no. 5 Savile Row

Junghans Meister Kalender
There are few brands that manage to successfully combine the old with the new, but Junghans are one of them. This Meister Kalendar boasts an undeniably classic design with its calendar sub-dial and moonphase indication, yet the pared-down hour markers and elegant dauphine hands give it a somehow modern quality befitting of its 21st century automatic movement.

Alden Cordovan Boots
Alden are renowned in the US but relatively little known in Britain, perhaps because they are so hard to come by. Luckily for us, Browns on London's South Molton Street are one of the few stockists, with these boots playing a starring role. Made from virtually indestructible Cordovan leather, these Alden derby boots feature a rich dark burgundy 'colour 8' and a high ankle finish.

Acqua di Parma Blue Mediterraneo Cedro di Taormina
Acqua di Parma's Blu Mediterraneo line of fragrances is a favourite of ours here at The Rake, not least because they 'evoke the energy, the sun and the colours of the Italian Mediterranean'. Cedro di Taormina is the latest addition, with base notes of cedarwood, vetiver and cistus, middle notes of black pepper and lavender and top notes of citron, petitgrain and basil. It all combines to create a wonderfully fresh scent, perfect for every day spring/summer wear.

Zenith Elite Chronograph Classic
Zenith's Elite family is an exercise in flawlessly executed minimalism, and it's latest addition, the Elite Chronograph Classic, is arguably its finest yet. What makes this piece extra special though is the movement, which has been ripped straight out of Zenith's famed El Primero timepiece, one of the most iconic chronographs of all time.
