Recently I had the pleasure of visiting the very mill where Drake’s designs’ go from sketch to scarf, and the many levels of quality control throughout the mill’s hand-making processes were astonishing. Or perhaps not, when you think about how beautiful their products end up, no less the Madder Silk Scarf. In an eye-catching shade of chilli red with complimentary azure tones, the Mughal print is not for the faint-hearted, and brings Drake’s signature zest for colour and quality to any ensemble. The sumptuous 30oz silk works for all seasons, so we recommend wearing loose around the neck with a camel coat in winter and thrown over a linen jacket in summer.

Hedon Artemis Helmet
The Artemis is the collaborative brainchild of Hedon helmets and The Rake’s penchant for all things motor-related. Hedon have made helmets cool again, injecting what used to be seen as a safety-first initiative with a much needed dose of design, craftsmanship, quality materials and souped-up style. It might be strange to describe a helmet (of all things) as sexy, but the polished black dome of the Artemis model, complete with retro racing stripes and pitch-black leather interior is really quite something, the depth of colour and glossy finish second to none.
